Tutor Bios

Hi! I’m a senior and co-president of CommuniTeen Tutors. I’ve been tutoring since my freshman year and specialize in math, French, Spanish, and science. I’m super excited to be leading the club this year and can’t wait to keep supporting students in their learning journey!

Hi! My name is Alanna, and I’ve been a part of CommuniTeen Tutors for almost three years now! I currently serve as a Co-President on the board and tutor in English, Social Studies, and Math. I’m so excited for a brand new year and to support others in any way I can! 

Hi! My name is Sophie, a Senior at New Rochelle High School, and your secretary! I tutor in English and history, and this will be my third year as a tutor for CommuniTeen Tutors. This year, I can’t wait to meet new students and reward their hard work by helping them achieve their academic goals. Last year was awesome, and I’m excited to see what we can do with this one!

Hi! I’m the 11th grade representative, and I’ve been tutoring since 9th grade. I love helping students grow, especially in math and science, but I’m also excited to take on new challenges and explore other subjects. I’m really looking forward to meeting new students and making this year a great one!

Hello! My name is Scarlett Hartzman, and in charge of Student Outreach for CommuniTeen Tutors! I’m a senior in High School, and I’ve been tutoring for 3 years. I tutor in math, and I’m excited to make the most out of my last year before college! 

Hi my name is Ariella Marcus, I am in 12th grade and I am Communications VP of communiTeen Tutors! This is my fourth year tutoring, I mostly tutor math, science, and english, and I am most excited about getting to know new people!
